The PSA nitrogen gas
generators offered by us produces nitrogen gas from atmospheric
air using molecular sieves separation techniques. The carbon
molecular sieves, which has the ability to preferentially remove
oxygen from air is used in this generators. The molecular sieves
process and supply used by us is licensed by Carbotech
Industrieservice- Germany.
The nitrogen generator comprises of 2-Beds filled with
carbon molecular sieves. The nitrogen comes out from one bed as
a product gas when compressed air is passed. The other bed
simultaneously regenerated by de-pressurization to atmospheric
pressure. The entire process is known as "Pressure
Swing Adsorption" (PSA).
MS-Model : It is the
simplest model, which produce commercial grade 99% purity
nitrogen economically. When the carbon molecular sieves quantity
is increased, 99.999% purity nitrogen can also be produced from
this model. To get this highly pure nitrogen, the investment and
running cost will be higher. This economical model is
recommended for purity upto 99.9% and is commonly used for
purging/inertizing applications.
DX-Model : This model is recommended for use in
metallurgical industries to provide oxygen free nitrogen gas for
heat treatment furnaces. In this generator the oxygen is less
than 1-ppm and Hydrogen is around 0.5 to 1% . It is desirable as
a reducing constituent in, most heat treatment applications.
When palladium catalyst based deoxo purification module is
added in "MODEL-MS" Generator, it becomes "DX-MODEL"
. This DX model is mostly used in Chemical/Metallurgical/Heat
Treatment Industries.
Copper-DX Model : Copper DX model nitrogen gas
generators offers very very pure gas, which is free from any
oxygen and hydrogen. The nitrogen purification module is based
on copper deoxo catalyst, which is added over here. By adding
copper catalyst module to the existing "MS Model"
Generator, it becomes Model "Copper- DX" generators.
It is used in synthetic fiber, optical cables and electronic
industries. Cost of production of nitrogen from this Copper-DX
model is higher than others.
