Our hydrogen gas generators
are supplied in India and abroad for heat treatment industries,
chemical and process industries and for cylinder filling. We
offer different types of hydrogen gas generators.
1. Ammonia Cracking
Hydrogen Generators
2. Water Electrolysis
Hydrogen Generators
Ammonia Cracking Hydrogen
Generators
These are catalytic cracking units in which
ammonia is dissociated in to nitrogen and hydrogen. Commercial
grade liquid ammonia from cylinders or tank is used as
feedstock.
The product gas has 75%
hydrogen and 25% nitrogen. This gas is then purified in a
molecular sieves unit by removing un-cracked ammonia and
moisture. The purified gas is used in heat treatment furnaces
like annealing, sintering and as reducing furnace atmosphere.
This is widely used in stainless steel and carbon steel bright
annealing. Hydrogen gas generator is extremely low in cost and
cost of hydrogen produced is also very low. The cracking
furnaces are electrically heated or fuel fired type.
Standard Sizes available -
1NM3/hr to 1000 NM3/hr
Water Electrolysis Hydrogen
Generators
We manufacture compact design water
electrolysis hydrogen generator with high-pressure Bi-polar
cells. The power consumption is as low as 5 KW per cubic meter
of hydrogen. We also handle complete erection and commissioning
of gas plants on turnkey basis.
It produces 99.8% pure hydrogen from electrolysis cells,
saturated with moisture. This is collected in a storage tank and
later onwards used in process. 99.9999% pure hydrogen can also
be produced by adding a Deoxo purification and molecular sieves
dryer. The purified gas contains maximum 1 ppm oxygen and is of
(-) 70
0 C dew point.
These cells operate at 5-30 Bar pressure, so no need of
hydrogen compressed upto 30 Bar pressure. For hydrogen cylinders
filling at 150 to 200 bar pressure we provide reciprocating or
diaphragm type Hydrogen compressors and cylinders filling
manifold.
Our Bi-polar cells have following advantages over conventional
open type hydrogen cells :
- High pressure without Hydrogen Compressor
- Electrolyte is in closed cells so no fumes in the
atmosphere.
- No air pollution and no fire hazards.
- Less space required due to compact construction of
cells.
- 20% lower power consumption.
- No blow off gases and no spillage of electrolyte as cell
unit is fully closed and sealed.
Standard Sizes available
We offer standard sizes like 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 NM3/hr.
For higher Hydrogen capacities multiple cell units are supplied,
connected in parallel upto 600 NM3/hr capacity.
